Smoking cigarettes 50% reduction in the risk of cardiovascular disease
Not smoking can reduce more than 50% risk of heart disease, stroke, or death from cardiovascular disease, especially in those without diabetes.
The scientists examined the smoking habits and cardiovascular health of more than 6000 people from 1981 - 2011 showed that smoking cessation may increase an average of 2.7 - 5.9 kg in 6 months.
Who stopped smoking more than four years to reduce the risk of heart disease by 54%. Those who do not smoke to 4 years also enjoy benefits almost similar, at 53%.
Scientists encourage patients to quit smoking and do not worry about weight gain during smoke cigarettes.
