1. Max Palmer: Height “ 8' 2" (2.49 m) ” 
 Max's acting career spanned from 1952 to 1954. He starred in such movies as Invaders from Mars and Killer Ape with Johnny Weissmuller. He also guested variety shows such as Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis Comedy Hour, "Spade Cooley TV Show", and The Jimmy Durante Show
2. Neil Fingleton: Height “ 7' 7½" (2.33 m) ”
This title has been confirmed by the Guinness Book of Records in the summer of 2007; Fingleton takes over from Christopher Greener who stands at 7 ft 6 ¼in (229.2 cm) in height.
3. Jack Earle : Height  7' 7½" (2.32 m) ”
He weighed only four pounds at birth and was so tiny that doctors feared he wouldn't live. But immediately, he began to grow at an incredible rate and by age ten was over six feet tall. He was discovered by Hollywood as a teenager and offered a job acting in comedies

One of the tallest actors ever, he held various odd jobs before his debut on the silver screen. He worked for Spike Jones and his City Slickers, Ardens Dairy (in California,) as a Cowboy for Public Relations and at Knotts Berry Farm, (in California) also as a Cowboy.
7. Matthew McGrory.Tallest actor at 2.29m (7 ft 6 in) when he died
Matthew started his career by making appearances on The Howard Stern Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and music videos of Iron Maiden, Marilyn Manson, and Blondie. Matthew would later amass a cult following for memorable roles such as "Tiny" in Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses...

Mayhew has played the part of Chewbacca in four Star Wars films: the original trilogy (Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi) and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. He also played the role in the 1978 television film Star Wars Holiday Special as well as in an appearance on The Muppet Show and also recorded dialogue for the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 3 finale episode "Wookiee Hunt"
9. Brad Garrett: Tallest Emmy Award winning actor at 2.04m (6 ft 8 1/2 in)
